First turkey as a father, biggest one yet! Shout out to all the spouses who stay home to watch the kid(s) while we chase our addictions through the woods.
Had a hen roosted high up in a tree 30 yards to the east of me, calling hard all morning to the 4 Tom’s about 80 yards east of her. As I was watching them through the binoculars, I heard movement close behind me. When i peaked through the back window I saw this guy moving fast. Quickly stood up and turned around and took the shot! Blessed in many ways to be able to harvest this bird! Hopefully one day soon my little one can be out there with me to share the experience!!
