I shot this deer in the 2008 gun season with my muzzleloader. I had the hide in the freezer waiting to be mounted. While I was away, the freezer went out and the cape was ruined. So after all these years I mounted the antlers on the buck I shot in the 2018 bow season. Took 10 years to get this trophy on the wall. But now it will be there forever.

Just as I was getting ready to get out of the stand and head to work the neighbor booted him and three other deer over to me. Saw he was limping and shot him at about 30 yards. Made it about another 40 yards before he went down. Ended up having a broken rear leg. Never had a single picture of him on trail cams all year but pretty unique rack! First harvest with a muzzleloader.

Had a ruff day at the body shop, so I decided to punch the clock and jump in the heavy half And Peel on out to my six-foot ladder stand, I really wasn’t planning on hunting really or even Seeing any deer because the property is only 1.5 acres, mainly Just wanted to get out and relax and check the recent reddit uploads…anyways. Not even five minutes into me scrollin through the Internet here comes this deer in hot. so I grab the old bear, knock an Easton aluminum, draw back and throw a muzzy right at him at 8yds. Let’s just say he didn’t go far, slapped the U R on him and called it. Game over Madge 1, deer 0

God is SO good! Wasn’t going to sit tonight, but my husband saw a lot of deer on his way home from work and told me I should go out. So thankful I did!!! Especially thankful for my dad that taught me how to hunt. Tagged out!!!

Not a single picture or encounter with this buck all year. You never know what might walk out in the late season.

Saw this buck in 2017 as tight racked 6 point. Let him walk a few times. 2018 cameras showed that he made it through the previous season.
Rainy morning on the 4th, with wind out of the east. Had 3 smaller bucks around me. Once he walked out I grunted to him. Instantly getting mad he chased them all off. A 42 yard shot is all I had. The arrow flew true into both lungs ran 90 yards and piled up.

Came in right before dark after a series of grunts and stopped behind some trees for what felt like about 5 minutes before committing and coming in for a 15 yard shot. Double lunged him and he ran about 40 yards before falling. Picture doesn’t really do him justice. Not even close to my biggest buck but my first off of some new property in my hometown!!
