This hunting season has been diffrent for me, I broke my knee in multiple places acting as an acl tear so ive been using my daughter’s ebike. I did an evening sit on the 8th and was blessed with a decent 8 point with my crossbow so with pressure off and surgery being on the 15th I wanted to try and get one with compound before im all hemmed up did another evening sit on the 13th and even though it was hot I had alot of action after sun went down lot of does and a decent buck walked out at last light I went full draw but with lighting conditions I didnt feel comfortable taking it and in my condition tracking would not be fun and I knew with the amount of does and bedding in my area I knew one of em had to be hot, so I snuck in there in the morning running late not even 20 minutes later 4 bucks dead sprinted under me and it caught me off gaurd not even 75 yards there he was and there just so happened to be a doe as well she came into 20 he followed and read the script gave em the ole meh and let it fly he piled up after about 25 yards beyond blessed this year

Sometimes, it works out so perfectly that it seems too good to be true. This was one of those hunts. I put in a few watering holes this summer, and this buck only had grabbing a drink on his mind. Showed up on camera 4 days ago, and this was the first time he daylighted. After grabbing a drink and hitting his horns on the side of the watering hole, he went broadside at 18 yards. Back of his heart and both lungs made him fall after going just 40 yards! Unreal hunt that I won’t soon forget!

I got my biggest buck ever on Sunday night! I have watched this buck on trail cams since the middle of August. Shot him at last light sending an arrow straight through the heart! He ran less than 50 yards. He started out as a solid 13 pt. He broke off one brow tine a couple of weeks ago but the broken nub is still an inch tall. I have shot many bucks through the years and have never shot big ones. Still the dream of the big buck appearing has always been what my hunting dreams were made of. I don’t think I could be any happier.

Went out at 4:00 and at 5:30 he was standing right in front of me 80 yards away broadside. I took the shot with the ravin and the rest is history.

I was debating on going out in the morning after a football game and with homecoming the next day I said I have to go out with me getting a trail cam picture of him so I knew he was around I went out and seen about 40 deer and Probaly 15 bucks. At 8:30 I looked to my right and seen him comming. I watched him for about 30 minutes before he gave me a shot then finally put an arrow in him

Been watching this guy all year. Decided to step out on the south end about 150 yards away made his way down into the thick stuff out in front of me and about 40 minutes later presented me with a 15 yard broadside shot

Wen out immediately after the rain stopped. I was drawn back on a big doe when he charged in and ran her off. He stopped right where my pin sat on her. I had him on a cam all summer drinking from a water hole on the opposite side of the property and didnt expect him so early in the season. He was about 35 yards out and he didnt run more than 150 yards before he dropped. All of the deer that I take go to the local food pantry and this big body buck will definitely fill their freezer!

Watched him walk 300+ yards for about 20 minutes. On a mission to tussle with his favorite scrape. Surprisingly, he stuck to the script!

I was hunting in a stand while this buck walked to the creek then I took out my range finder and clocked him at 45 yards and took the shot.

Not even a week after taking my 9 point, this tank walked out at 44 yards & headed the opposite direction. He suddenly made a turn back to work a scrape and stopped at 30 giving me the perfect shot! I watched him die at 142 yards from the blind, while 28 other deer were out in the field. What an incredible hunt!! Tagged out early in the season with two nice bucks! Major thanks to my fiancé, Justin, for all the support & encouragement this season!
